Founded in Hackney in 2009, Les Crocodiles is a non-profit organisation regulated by the Charity Commission since 2014. Its object is the teaching of the French language and the promotion of French culture.

Close to 200 children come on Saturdays to learn French at La Petite Ecole des Crocodiles!

La Petite Ecole Des Crocodiles, A SCHOOL PART OF THE FLAM NETWORK (Francais Langue Maternelle) 

FLAM - which stands for French as mother tongue - is a program to reinforce the French language and culture for French-speaking children living abroad. 

Our children classes can last 45 minutes to two and a half hours according to the child age and level.

2 types of classes are offered :

  • Minis for children aged between 6 months and 3 years old.

  • The FLAM Curriculum for children aged 3+ (French as a mother tongue)

Note that Les Crocodiles also provides French tuition to adults on Saturdays and can provide private tuition on demand.

PRIVATE TUITION

From beginners to more advanced levels, we will create a programme fully adapted to your needs. Classes can be taught at home or online.

We can teach French as a recreational activity as well as for preparation of exams.

Les Crocodiles is also The Library! There are more than 1,500 books and magazines to choose from.

It can be found every Saturday morning during La Petite Ecole classes as well as online!  The Library is a great opportunity to encourage reading in French for children of all ages.
